Dining & Social - Our culinary offerings provide an excellent array of pallet preferences with seasonal offerings throughout the year for your tasteful enjoyment. Daily specials and signature soups allow our members to experience new dishes with a creative touch by our culinary team while our friendly staff accommodates your personal preferences. Members at the Club enjoy an abundance of social camaraderie throughout the year with festive events such as our 4th of July Firework party, Fall Member Kickoff and Grapes on the Greens that spark friendships for years to come.
Pool - Our newly renovated saltwater pool provides an excellent relaxing escape from Memorial Day to Labor Day for members and guests alike to cool off and enjoy some family time. Coming soon is the addition of a full service grill and bar poolside for your favorite beverage and meal of choice while sitting under the cabanas.
Tennis - The Club includes two newly renovated and lighted hard courts leveled to USTA standards for your tennis and pickleball enjoyment.
Guided Fly Fishing - The Club offers exclusive guided fly fishing excursions with one of our guides listed below. Enjoy a morning, afternoon or even a full day with lunch of your choice included on the river while having the chance to reel in trophy trout. Club members receive exclusive guiding rates and early booking opportunities.
Alex "Al" Tennyson - A product of the Ozark Mountains, Al was born and raised in Harrison, Arkansas. He grew up on the banks of Crooked Creek and the Buffalo River. In his teenage years he was avid with sports and fishing spin tackle for smallmouth bass. After finding his first fly reel in an older house his parents bought, he soon bought a rod to pair it with and dove into fly fishing. Al attended the University of Arkansas-Fayetteville and started a career in sales after. He spent most weekends fishing or camping which worked his way into the guiding world with years of river experience. He truly loves this area and showing off the beautiful fisheries we have in this area. He is most certainly a streamer enthusiast, but is a kid in a candy store when the bugs start to hatch. Being an avid fly tier, expect to use plenty of Al-tied flies when you fish with him!
Bryant Stark - Bryant grew up fishing the lakes and wetlands of south Louisiana for largemouth, red fish, and speckled trout. In 2010, Bryant moved to Colorado for the clean mountain air and to explore the expansive waterways of the wild west. After settling in the Rockies, he quickly realized that the fly rod was the weapon of choice. In 2012 he moved to Steamboat Springs and started fishing the Yampa and Elk River and began exploring the lakes and streams of the Flat Tops wilderness. When fellow Rising River Guide Jeremy brought up enrolling in guide school in 2017, Bryant jumped on board and never looked back. Bryant guided for five seasons in Colorado’s Yampa Valley and enjoyed fishing the Green River (a little further west) on his days off. He had found his passion.
Towards the end of the summer in 2021, Bryant and his two huskies packed up and moved to Norfork, AR to start his Arkansas fishing guide journey with Rising River Guides and to be closer to his family in south Louisiana. The allure of year-round trout fishing and floating were irresistible! Bryant is an avid fly tier and spends almost every evening at the vise. He is a very patient guide that is always willing to teach and sharpen the skills needed to cast the fly rod and catch fish proficiently.
The Fish House - Experience an Ozark destination sporting getaway at the Club’s extension property on the scenic White River. Enjoy premiere golf and world-class fly fishing for trophy trout while staying at “The Fish House.” Our 5-bedroom, 5-bath river-front accommodation features multiple living spaces, a detached suite, a large entertainment deck, fire pit, and stunning water views from almost every room.
Our experienced fly-fishing guides pick up members and guests right off the dock for a first-class experience on the river. The Club also offers a luxury vehicle for your transportation needs to and from an enjoyable dinner at the Club.
Members of Big Creek Country Club receive exclusive accommodation rates and early bookings. Reservations are also available to non-member guests on a first come first serve basis.
